So Northwestern looked bad - very, very bad - in its 58-7 loss to Ohio State on Saturday, but you have to give props to the Buckeyes, who looked good - very, very good.
But how good?
As a voter in the UWire.com college football top 10 poll, I've got the Buckeyes at No. 6.
Their offense looked incredible and torched NU's secondary repeatedly. Their defense stuffed our run and hounded quarterback C.J. Bacher all day. They had good returns and a blocked punt on special teams. It was an impressive performance.
They're clearly the team to beat in the Big Ten, but I'm not ready to pick them to win the national championship just yet. I'm not sure if they can hang with USC's unstoppable offense, LSU's stifling defense or even Oklahoma's great secondary.
But don't count them out - yet.
Here's my top 10. Holla back with yours.
1. USC
2. LSU
3. Oklahoma
4. Florida
5. West Virginia
6. Ohio State
7. Cal
8. Texas
9. Oregon
10. Boston College
