Ross Lane makes a balla play, rolling over a defender without his knees touching the ground - to turn a 9-yard slant into a 64-yard gain.
The Cats settle for a field goal - kind of a downer after the kind of big opening play that builds momentum for a game. But it's still good news: NU os 6-2 over the past two years when it scores first.
